Thousands of PlayStation users in the UK have reported problems accessing the PlayStation Network on Friday.
More than 6,000 reports were logged by Downdetector shortly after midday on Friday. Users have reported having difficulty signing in and connecting to online services.
The technical issues appeared to last into the afternoon with little reduction in the volume of reports received by Downdetector by 2pm. Despite this, Sony's official PlayStation Service Status was reporting that all services were “up and running”.

One UK user wrote on Downdetector: "Can't load any digital games at all bought or free. Can't connect to servers to verify licences, doesn't matter what i try to load i get the same message every time."
