Thousands of users have reported issues with Facebook and Instagram, with outages logged across the UK, US, and Europe.
Users have taken to other social media channels to report being logged out of Facebook, including the app version, while others are experiencing problems with Facebook Messenger.
Outage Reports Spike
According to Down Detector, the first reports of Facebook being down were made at around 12:35pm today, with numbers growing significantly after 1pm. Reports of issues with Instagram, also owned by Meta, have also been logged.
