Facebook and Instagram have gone down for the second time since Sunday. The outage began at around 12:45pm and has impacted more than 5,000 users across both platforms.
Outage Details
As of 1pm, 4,400 users were struggling to access Facebook, while nearly 600 had issues with Instagram. Most problems are occurring on mobile apps, according to Downdetector, which monitors internet disruptions.
One Facebook user said: 'Urgh down again. Getting, “Sorry, something went wrong. We’re working on it and we’ll get it fixed as soon as we can.”'

Global Impact
Thousands of users in the US and Spain are also experiencing problems. Meta, the owner of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, reports no known issues on its status page.
