Elon Musk has warned that many people will be tricked by "super persuasive" artificial intelligence, admitting that even he could fall victim to it.
Speaking on his platform X, Musk wrote: "So many people are going to get one-shotted by super persuasive super intelligences and I might be one of them."
Musk's long-standing AI concerns
The Tesla and SpaceX boss has spoken at length on numerous occasions about AI, including its potential benefits and drawbacks. In the past, Musk mentioned that work may become optional thanks to AI, but also expressed "extreme concerns" with the technology, calling it a "double-edged sword".
He has even gone as far as suggesting AI could one day end humanity if it is not handled correctly.
Rebranding as 'super intelligence'
Musk's latest comments come just weeks after US President Donald Trump seemingly rebranded artificial intelligence as "super intelligence".
His remarks on X mark the latest in a series of warnings from the tech billionaire about the potential dangers of advanced AI systems.
