Public lottery application window
The application window for the public lottery typically opens in September or October of the year before the tournament. For Wimbledon 2027, this means late 2026. The online portal remains open for several weeks and closes strictly at 11.59pm on the specified deadline date.
When submitting an application, fans cannot request specific dates, court preferences, or seat locations. The computerised system randomly allocates available tickets, which could range from a standard opening-day court pass to a seat at the historic finals.
