The US Open is set to begin at Shinnecock Hills, and future venues for the major have already been decided through 2051. This year's edition takes place from 18 to 21 June at the historic Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
Future US Open Venues
2027: Pebble Beach
Following this year's event, the United States Golf Association will take the major championship back to the West Coast in 2027. The iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links in California is locked in to host from 17 to 20 June.
2028: Winged Foot
In 2028, the championship will return to New York for another challenging test of golf. Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck is designated to host from 15 to 18 June.
2029: Pinehurst
Looking ahead to 2029, the championship will move to North Carolina. Pinehurst Resort & Country Club's famous Course No. 2 will host from 14 to 17 June.
2030: Merion
The historic Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, is scheduled to welcome the championship in 2030 from 13 to 16 June.
2031-2033: Riviera, Pebble Beach, Oakmont
In 2031, the tournament will be held at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California, from 12 to 15 June. After that, it rotates back to Pebble Beach in 2032 and Oakmont Country Club in 2033.
2034-2037: Oakland Hills, Pinehurst, Shinnecock, Pebble Beach
The mid-2030s schedule features a mix of classic courses. Oakland Hills hosts in 2034, followed by Pinehurst in 2035, Shinnecock Hills in 2036, and Pebble Beach in 2037.
2038-2045: The Country Club, LACC, Merion, Pinehurst, Oakmont, Pebble Beach, Inverness
Between 2038 and 2045, the major will visit The Country Club (2038), Los Angeles Country Club (2039), Merion (2040), Pinehurst (2041), Oakmont (2042), Pebble Beach (2044), and Inverness Club (2045).
2047-2051: Pinehurst, Oakmont, Merion, Oakland Hills
The long-term rota stretches through mid-century: Pinehurst in 2047, Oakmont in 2049, Merion in 2050, and Oakland Hills in 2051. Years 2043, 2046, and 2048 are to be confirmed.
