Martinez's injury record

The 28-year-old has struggled with injuries at United, making only 18 Premier League appearances last season due to injury and suspension. He had regained form at the World Cup, becoming a regular starter for Lionel Scaloni before being forced off shortly before half-time in the final.

Martinez is currently on his post-World Cup break, and United are yet to learn the full extent of the injury. However, there is optimism that it will not keep him out for a significant period.
