Among the injured were two children, a man, and a woman, according to the Associated Press. The ride operator also suffered serious head and waist injuries. All victims were rushed to a private hospital in Bilimora for treatment, with fire crews from Bilimora assisting in rescue efforts. Police have secured the area and are investigating potential failures in maintenance and safety inspections.

This incident follows similar accidents, including one in Saudi Arabia last month where 23 people were injured, and a 2022 crash in Punjab, India, that injured over 50 people.
