The Monster, one of the world's largest inflatable obstacle courses, is set to arrive at Bluewater in Kent on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Spanning over 1,000 feet and featuring 42 obstacles, including an 18-metre-tall mega slide, the attraction has toured the UK since its debut in 2017, previously appearing in London, Essex, and Birmingham.
Location and Event Details
The event will be held in The Village car park, the same location as Bluewater's annual Winterland event. The arena will also feature giant Jenga and Connect 4, a chalk graffiti board, Monster Ping-Pong, and various food and drink vendors. Open daily from 10am to 9pm, the site offers different sessions to cater to all visitors.
Special Sessions for All Ages
From 10am to 11am, 'Quiet Sessions' provide a low-noise environment with no music or announcements, capped at 100 guests. These are described as 'ideal for guests who prefer a more relaxed environment.' Following that, the 'All Ages Session' begins, featuring party music, lighting effects, and video clips on a giant screen. Guests have 60 minutes to complete as many laps of The Monster as they wish. The course, self-proclaimed as 'the craziest bouncy castle in the world,' includes 40 individual obstacles that are not for the faint-hearted.
Adults-Only and Evening Entertainment
From Thursday to Sunday, starting at 7pm, the arena transforms into an 'Adults Only' event with DJs, interactive karaoke, a full bar, and late-night food vendors. Selected Saturday sessions will feature a 'high-energy foam party.'
Ticket Pricing and Availability
The Monster will be at Bluewater for six weeks. General admission tickets are £18 each, or £15 each for groups of more than six people. Bluewater's PLUS+ rewards members receive a reduced price of £15 per person. Spectator tickets are available for £3, granting unlimited access to the entertainment space but not the inflatable course. Children must be aged five and at least one metre tall to participate; children under four can spectate for free.
Food and Drink Options
Food vendors will offer loaded fries, chicken strips, burgers, soft drinks, frozen slushies, craft beers, and cocktails. According to a TikTok user @Dee, who has been on the course twice, she 'struggled each time,' while another customer called it a 'serious workout.'
