2.30 Queen Mary Stakes
SENORITA BONITA did enough on her debut at Nottingham to appeal at Group 2 level. The daughter of Starspangledbanner was bought for 900,000 guineas after impressing at the breeze-up sales. Trained by Simon and Ed Crisford, she debuted as a 10-11 favourite in a five-furlong fillies' maiden at Colwick Park a fortnight ago. Despite anxious moments as Fast Track led, Oisin Murphy's mount (now ridden by William Buick) came from behind to win by a short head. Expect improvement. Alta Regina, Wild Blossom, Victorious, and Ruiza are worth a look.

3.05 Queen's Vase
GALIYAN is a promising three-year-old expected to shine over 1m6f. The Andrew Balding-trained son of Galiway finished fourth of five on debut at Newmarket in April. He improved over 1m2f at Chester's May meeting, storming home to beat favorite Joulany by 2.25 lengths. He should relish the extra two furlongs. Limestone is progressive and rates a big threat, while Point Of Law and Wareeth are also in contention.

3.40 Duke of Cambridge Stakes
CATALINA DELCARPIO, reinvented as a miler, can complete unfinished business at Royal Ascot. Last year, the Paddy Twomey-trained filly was favorite for the Ribblesdale Stakes but faded to third over 1m4f. Twomey has brought her back to a mile for 2026. After a 288-day layoff, she ran fourth in the Park Express Stakes in April, then won the Listed Amethyst Stakes last time. More to come on her sixth career start. Friendly Soul, Blue Bolt, and Godspeed should fight for minor medals.

4.20 Prince of Wales's Stakes
DARYZ is on a Group 1 roll and gets the vote in the best race of Royal Ascot 2026. The son of Sea The Stars trailed last of six behind Ombudsman in the Juddmonte International last August, but now returns as an Arc winner. He beat Minnie Hauk by a head at Longchamp in October, then won the Prix Ganay by 3.5 lengths in April, and the Prix Aga Khan IV by the same margin last time. Trained by Francis Graffard, Daryz hasn't reached his peak yet. Ombudsman, winner of the Brigadier Gerard Stakes, is a big threat, with Almaqam preferred for third.

5.00 Royal Hunt Cup
LA BOTTE is primed to go well. Last year, the Harry Eustace-trained son of Too Darn Hot finished second in the Britannia Handicap. He's 0-4 this season but caught the eye with a strong-finishing fourth in the Lincoln Trial, then struggled on soft ground. After a poor run in the Paradise Stakes and over 1m2f at Goodwood, he returns to Ascot's straight mile. In a big field, Indalo, Linwood, Archivist, and Mister Winston top a long shortlist.

5.35 Kensington Palace Stakes
OOLONG POOBONG finished fourth in this race last year and can go three places better. The Ed Bethell-trained daughter of Make Believe has run only eight times. Last year, she finished 2.75 lengths behind winner Never Let Go, but was drawn 21 while the first three were drawn low. After 330 days off, she returned in a handicap at Thirsk last month, finishing fifth. With Jamie Spencer riding for the first time, she can show to the fore. Stateira, Song N Dance, Rumba Numba, and American Gal are dangers.

6.10 Windsor Castle Stakes
SERGEI DIAGHILEV landed bets on his debut at the Curragh and rates a worthy favorite for Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore. The son of Wootton Bassett shortened from evens to 4-6 before winning a six-furlong maiden by half a length. The form has worked out, with the runner-up and third winning next time. He has untapped potential. Fellow Curragh debut winner Celeron looks bright, along with Sale Shark and Boleto.
