The Red Arrows will not perform at the Wales Airshow in Swansea this summer. The aerobatic team is heading to the United States to mark 250 years of American independence.

Thousands from across Wales are expected to attend the annual Wales Airshow on Swansea's beach front on Saturday, July 25 and Sunday, July 26. However, the Red Arrows, a regular highlight, will be absent.
The squadron's display schedule shows no planned performances in Wales for the coming months. Instead, the distinctive scarlet aircraft will be stationed in the US from late June through late July, with displays in Maryland, New York, Wisconsin, Maine and Michigan.
