The Premier League fixture list for the 2026-27 season is set to be unveiled on Friday, June 19 at 10am. Everton and their top-flight counterparts will discover their schedules for the upcoming campaign. Clubs already have access to the schedule, as fixtures are made available a day before the public release.
Season Start and End
The Premier League season will commence on the weekend of Saturday, August 22, with matches also scheduled for Sunday 23 and Monday 24, along with the possibility of a fixture on Friday 21. The campaign concludes on Sunday, May 30, 2027, with all games kicking off simultaneously, typically around 4pm, though this will be confirmed closer to the date.
International Breaks
International breaks will see changes this season. Instead of three breaks in the first half of the season, there will be only two. The September break will last three weeks, from Monday, September 21 until fixtures resume on the weekend of October 10-11. The second international break will pause play on the weekend of November 14-15.
Matchday Structure
The season will comprise 33 weekend fixture lists and five midweek schedules. However, teams may have additional midweek fixtures due to cup competitions or rearranged matches. Over Christmas and New Year, the Premier League maintains its commitment that no two match rounds will occur within 60 hours.
Cup Competitions
Everton will begin their Carabao Cup campaign in the second round, as they are not participating in European competition. The schedule for this competition is yet to be confirmed. The FA Cup starts on Saturday, August 8 with an extra preliminary round, but Everton will enter at the third-round stage, scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, January 9, 2027. The FA Cup final is set for Saturday, May 22, 2027, one week before the Premier League season ends.
Champions League Final
The Champions League final will again be the final game of the season, taking place on Saturday, June 5, 2027.
