The Premier League season will begin on the weekend of Saturday, August 22, with matches on Sunday 23 and Monday 24, plus the possibility of a game on Friday 21. The season concludes on Sunday, May 30, 2027, with all matches kicking off simultaneously, typically around 4pm, though this will be confirmed closer to the time.
International Breaks
International breaks will see changes this season. Instead of the usual three breaks in the first half of the season, there will be only two. The second international break will occur on the weekend of November 14-15.
Matchday Schedule
The Premier League season will feature 33 weekend fixture lists and five midweek schedules. However, teams could have more midweek fixtures depending on cup competitions and any rearranged games. Domestic Cups
Newcastle United will begin their Carabao Cup campaign in the second round this season, as they are not participating in European competition. The schedule for the competition is yet to be confirmed. The FA Cup starts on Saturday, August 8 with an extra preliminary round, but Newcastle will enter at the third-round stage, scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, January 9, 2027. The FA Cup final is set for Saturday, May 22, 2027, one week before the Premier League season ends.
Champions League Final
The Champions League final will again be the final game of the season, taking place on Saturday, June 5, 2027.
