McGregor's comeback after five years
McGregor's last UFC appearance was at UFC 264 in July 2021, where his third fight with Dustin Poirier ended after one round due to a horrific leg break. A proposed 2024 clash with Michael Chandler was shelved, but now the Irishman is finally back. He faces former featherweight champion Holloway, who lost to McGregor in 2013 and is coming off a defeat to Charles Oliveira at UFC 326 in March, where he lost the symbolic 'BMF' title.

In the chief support act, Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett fights for the first time since his brutal loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 324 in January. He faces France's Benoit Saint Denis in a lightweight contest.
