Livingston Designer Outlet has teamed up with Scottish National League and Scottish Cup Champions, the Edinburgh Capitals, in a new partnership that will bring exclusive fan experiences, player appearances and community events to Scotland’s largest designer outlet throughout the 2026/27 season.
The partnership will see the Edinburgh Capitals become a regular presence at Livingston Designer Outlet, with player appearances, competitions, ticket giveaways, membership drives, pop-up events and fan experiences designed to bring supporters closer to the club while introducing new audiences to one of Scotland’s most successful ice hockey teams.
Jersey sponsorship and community focus
As part of the partnership, Livingston Designer Outlet will become the club’s main jersey sponsor for the 2026/27 season, with the new playing shirt set to be unveiled soon.
The collaboration reflects Livingston Designer Outlet’s continued commitment to creating memorable experiences beyond shopping, while supporting organisations that play an important role within communities across Scotland.
Michelle Whitelaw, Centre Director at Livingston Designer Outlet, said: “At Livingston Designer Outlet we’re always looking for partnerships that create exciting experiences for our visitors while supporting organisations that make a real difference within our local communities. The Edinburgh Capitals have built an incredibly passionate fanbase and continue to grow both on and off the ice. We’re looking forward to working together throughout the season to bring fans closer to the club while creating some fantastic experiences at the outlet.”
Capitals' growth and future plans
The Edinburgh Capitals have enjoyed significant growth since the reopening of Murrayfield Ice Arena following its 30-month closure during the pandemic. The club currently attracts average crowds of more than 2,150 supporters, has over 500 season ticket holders and enters the new season as both Scottish National League and Scottish Cup Champions.
Scott Neil, General Manager at Murrayfield Ice Arena said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Livingston Designer Outlet. This is far more than a sponsorship. It’s a partnership that will help us grow commercially, strengthen our connection with supporters and create new opportunities to engage with communities across the region. Working together will allow us to reach new audiences through player appearances, events, competitions and promotions, while giving our supporters exciting opportunities to connect with the club away from the rink.”
Visitors can look forward to a programme of activity throughout the season, with further details on events, appearances and competitions to be announced in the coming months.
