Joey Essex vs Dapper Laughs: How to Watch Fight on TV

Joey Essex returns to the boxing ring this weekend to face Dapper Laughs in the latest Misfits Boxing crossover. The Only Way is Essex star will fight the comedian at London's Copper Box Arena, with the entire fight card available to stream on DAZN.

Both fighters have won their only professional bouts so far. Essex secured a majority decision victory over Portuguese YouTuber Numeiro in August 2025, while Dapper Laughs has not fought professionally for three years since his debut. In 2023, the comedian, real name Daniel O'Reilly, knocked out fellow social media star Simple Simon in just over a minute.

Training with Tony Sims

Before the fight, Misfits showed the final week of Essex's training with his uncle, boxing trainer and MMA star Tony Sims. “I'm with the pros every day so I haven't got a choice but to train like them,” Essex said. “Anything Tony puts in front of me I make sure I do it and put 110% into it.”

The Misfits card also features Manchester's Jordan McCann, who suffered a second-round knockout against rival Big Stacks in September's crossover. The fight takes place at the 7,481-capacity Copper Box Arena, which opened in 2011 for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
