Jens Hjerto-Dahl has hinted his time at Tromso could be over after missing a penalty in a 1-0 Europa League defeat to Hradec Kralove. The 20-year-old Norwegian midfielder is a target for Rangers, who had a £5.3m bid rejected, but Cardiff City are now leading the chase after offering to meet Tromso's £8m asking price.
Hjerto-Dahl speaks on future
Speaking after the match, Hjerto-Dahl said: "If this was my last game, I hope I have done other things apart from that penalty miss that people will remember." He added: "If something happens, all the information will come out, but right now I have to keep my focus on Tromso. I will contribute as long as I can and I'm already looking forward to the return leg next week. I hope I can play in that."

Rangers have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of defender Sankhoun Diawara after AC Milan agreed a £1.7m deal with Troyes. The 6ft 3in French centre-back was a target for Gers boss Derek McInnes, but the youngster is now heading to Italy for a medical.

Meanwhile, Rangers outcast Danilo has arrived in Rio de Janeiro ahead of a loan move to Botafogo. The 27-year-old landed at Galeão Airport on Thursday night and is set to undergo a medical on Friday, with the season-long loan expected to be completed before the weekend.
