Gulliver's World in Warrington is set to mark the end of summer with a day of celebrations. The attraction will host its Superhero Summer Final on Saturday, September 5, with fireworks scheduled to light up the night sky.
Extended Opening Hours
Opening hours for rides and attractions will be extended from 10.30am until 8.30pm, giving guests more time to enjoy the park.
Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said: "What a wonderful way to bring the curtain down on another action-packed summer season. The fireworks show always prove incredibly popular, and with so many superheroes around, it promises to be such a colourful weekend!"
"We encourage all children and adults to dress up in their favourite superhero outfits, and there will be special superhero challenges, character displays, and entertainment throughout."
Fireworks and Attractions
The fireworks are scheduled to take place from around 8.45pm, but guests are reminded that fireworks shows are subject to modification or cancellation without prior notice, particularly in the case of severe weather conditions.
With more than 50 rides, attractions, shows and activities, there is plenty for families to see and do at Gulliver’s World. Visitors can experience thrills on rides like the Pirate Ship, Desperado Drop, Antelope Wooden Coaster, and Togo Tower, and get up close with the park’s animatronic dinosaurs.
The Gulliver’s Gears car-themed area has two rides – the Grand Prix Racer rollercoaster and Overdrive, a 360-degree thrill and one of Gulliver’s most daring rides.
New Addition: Land of Oz
There’s also the Upside Down House, which defies gravity, along with the Winged Monkeys Wicked-inspired adventure and Munchkin Motors, where families can drive through the Land of Oz looking for its characters. The Land of Oz is a new addition to the park, opening in 2025.
