The 2026 Commonwealth Games begin today (July 23) in Glasgow, with the opening ceremony at the OVO Hydro. Tickets are still available for many events across the city.
Scottish Event Campus (SEC)
The SEC is the main hub, hosting six sports across the OVO Hydro, SEC Armadillo, and SEC Centre.
The Hydro hosts netball from July 25 to August 2. The SEC Armadillo stages weightlifting and para powerlifting on July 24, with weightlifting running July 26-30. The SEC Centre hosts basketball and wheelchair basketball (July 24-29), bowls and para bowls (July 24 to August 2), boxing (July 24 to August 1), and judo (July 31 to August 2).
Tollcross International Swimming Centre
Swimming and para swimming take place July 24-29, with 42 swimming and 14 para swimming medal events.
Glasgow International Arena
Artistic gymnastics runs July 24-28, followed by track cycling and para track cycling July 30 to August 2. The arena hosts 40 medal events.
Scotstoun Stadium
Athletics and para athletics are held July 27 to August 1, with 59 medal events (43 athletics, 16 para athletics).
