EastEnders' Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) faces her worst nightmare next week when Sheila Atkins (Sheila Ruskin) kidnaps her son Jordan Fox (Jahsaiah Williams), fulfilling the family's fears. The horrifying turn of events unfolds as Chelsea's murderous ex Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) orchestrates a dastardly plan from behind bars, using his grandmother Sheila and new inmate Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).
Sheila's Secret Alliance
Sheila has been ingratiating herself with Chelsea and Jordan since arriving in Walford earlier this summer, but Chelsea remains unaware that Sheila has been secretly visiting Gray in prison. Gray, seeking revenge for Chelsea's role in his 2022 imprisonment for three counts of murder, finds an unlikely ally in Ian Beale, who is serving time for drink driving and holds a grudge against Chelsea for failing to make a statement admitting her role in the accident that saw Ian run over Jordan.
Gray's Manipulation
Gray manipulates Ian, offering him protection in prison in exchange for requesting a visit from Chelsea. Ian initially refuses, but an escalating situation forces him to relent. Despite her family's warnings, Chelsea agrees to visit Ian, and when Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) agrees to look after Jordan, Sheila seizes the opportunity to snatch him.
Desperate Search
Kim and the family are devastated when they realize Jordan is missing, and suspicion quickly falls on Sheila. At the hospital, local copper Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) is alerted to the unfolding events while visiting wife Denise Fox (Diane Parish) on the cancer ward. Jack tries to get a lead on Sheila's whereabouts, but when his back is turned, Denise takes matters into her own hands, determined to reach Sheila first.
A Terrifying Revelation
While Chelsea is at the prison, unaware of the chaos at home, Ian realizes Gray has involved him in a more sinister plan and begs Chelsea to leave. But it's too late as a terrifying incident erupts. Will Denise and Kim find Jordan? And how will Chelsea and Ian escape Gray's clutches?
