Celtic Champions League squad revealed, Engels included

Celtic have confirmed their 25-man squad for the Champions League playoff round against Austrian champions LASK. Manager Martin O'Neill has submitted the squad for the two-legged tie, with Arne Engels included despite being on the verge of a £22million move to West Ham.

Engels included despite transfer uncertainty

The Belgian midfielder is close to joining the Hammers, who are aiming for an immediate return to the Premier League after relegation last season. O'Neill had hoped to keep Engels for the matches against LASK but has conceded defeat on that front. However, he has still named the player in his squad as a precaution.

Alistair Johnston is absent after suffering a hamstring injury. O'Neill confirmed the Canadian international will be sidelined for a few weeks, which appears to have ended a proposed move to Everton.
