Carnival Legend, a large ship from American cruise line Carnival Cruise Line, arrived at Liverpool's cruise terminal at approximately 8am on August 4. The vessel is scheduled to depart for Holyhead at around 4pm the same day.
Ship's History and Current Voyage
The ship, christened by actress Dame Judi Dench in Essex in 2002, has sailed to destinations including the Caribbean, Mexico, and Hawaii. Currently, it is on a 9-night British Isles cruise that began in Dover on July 31, with stops in Cork, Dun Laoghaire, and Liverpool. The itinerary continues to Holyhead, Greenock-Glasgow, Belfast, and back to Dover.
Onboard Facilities
Passengers can enjoy amenities across 12 decks, including The Punchliner Comedy Club, RedFrog Rum Bar, and musical productions. The onboard waterpark features the 'Green Thunder' waterslide, 'Twister' slide, and a kids' splash zone. Dining options include Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Guy's Burger Joint, and Truffles Restaurant. Adults can unwind at the Serenity Adult-Only Retreat or visit Medusa's Lair Dance Club.
