The final Cardiff Castle gigs of the summer will feature two major acts: Hollywood Vampires on Friday, August 14, and Jimmy Eat World on Saturday, August 15. Both shows are sold out via Depot Live's website, with resale tickets available on Ticketmaster for each event.
Event Details and Support Acts
Hollywood Vampires, featuring Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen, will be supported by The Damned, who are celebrating 50 years of goth and punk in 2026. Jimmy Eat World, marking 25 years of their album Bleed American, will be supported by Rise Against, The Get Up Kids and Jay Som.

Access, Road Closures and Parking
General admission entry is via the north gate at the back of the castle. Castle Street will close half an hour before each event ends and reopen when crowds disperse. Full city centre road closure information is available online.
Parking is available at Sophia Gardens and the Civic Centre, as well as city centre car parks including St David's Shopping Centre, John Lewis, Capitol Shopping Centre, and NCP locations on Adam Street, Dumfries Place and Greyfriars Road.
Banned Items and What You Can Bring
Banned items include alcohol, signs, luggage, computers, laptops, iPads, tablets, large bags over A4, selfie sticks, professional cameras, cans, drugs, helmets, air horns, lasers, animals except guide dogs, glass bottles, spray cans, flags, umbrellas, chairs, flares or fireworks, toxic substances, weapons (including replicas), perfumes, explosives, signalling devices, smoking devices, and very-lights, medicines without a prescription or justification, skateboards and other personal motorised and non-motorised vehicles, knives, syringes, and scalpels.
Sealed bottles of soft drinks or water under 500ml are permitted, as are empty reusable water bottles of any size (metal, plastic or other materials, but not glass). Free water refill stations are available. Small bags and rucksacks are allowed, with bag searches in operation. Assistance dogs are permitted, and those bringing one should notify Depot via the accessible requirements form or contact access@depotcardiff.com. With a doctor's note, diet-specific food and drink are allowed.
