The Birmingham-based club is looking to bolster its forward options and sees the 28-year-old Abraham as a reliable and solid alternative to current first-choice Ollie Watkins. Financial regulations mean Villa must proceed with caution in the winter market, but they remain hopeful of securing a permanent deal for the English striker in the coming days.
A Proven Villa Park Pedigree
Abraham is no stranger to success at Villa Park. During a highly productive loan spell from Chelsea in the 2018-19 season, he was instrumental in the club's promotion back to the Premier League, scoring an impressive 26 goals in 40 appearances. Since leaving Chelsea permanently in 2021, his career has taken him to Roma, AC Milan, and currently Besiktas in Turkey, where he has scored 12 goals in 24 games this season.
