Ex-England footballer Shaun Wright-Phillips and professional partner Alexis Warr became the fourth couple to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday's results show.
The pair lost the dance-off to actress Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu, who had landed in the bottom two after the public vote despite scoring 25 points on Saturday's show.
Halloween twist announced
Sunday's results episode also revealed a surprise twist: Strictly will hold its first triple dance-off during next week's Halloween special. The three couples with the lowest combined judges' scores and public votes will dance again, and the judges will eliminate one pair. The series will then revert to a two-couple dance-off for the rest of the run.
Dance-off details
Wright-Phillips, who played for Chelsea and QPR, and Warr reprised their jive to Faith by Stevie Wonder featuring Ariana Grande, while Winstone and Gu performed their foxtrot to Man I Need by Olivia Dean again.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted to save Gu and Winstone, but head judge Shirley Ballas voted for Wright-Phillips and Warr. Anton Du Beke, holding this week's casting vote, decided to save Winstone and Gu.
Other results and performances
Winstone and Gu reached the dance-off despite finishing above former Love Island star Cach Mercer and Maddie Ingoldsby, who scored 24, and Emmerdale star Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystal, who scored 19 on Saturday. Revel Horwood criticised Robb's performance, saying he was "flat-footed and out of time".
Australian singer Delta Goodrem returned from a rib injury to score the first 10 of the series with her rumba to Celine Dion's It's All Coming Back To Me Now with Kai Widdrington, scoring 34. Winter Olympic champion Tabby Stoecker topped the leaderboard with 37, the highest score of the series, after scoring two 10s for her couple's choice dance to Stupid Song by Olivia Rodrigo.
Stoecker's performance with Mark Karmalita was dedicated to her late father, and she appeared emotional afterwards. Ballas praised her as a "beautiful dancer" and called the performance "absolutely exquisite".
The results show also featured Spice Girls star Melanie C joining the professional dancers for a fitness-inspired group dance. The remaining couples return for the Halloween special on BBC One at 6.30pm on Saturday, October 31.
