Liverpool Negotiate Barcola £145m Deal; Lille Star Wants Move
Liverpool in Barcola Talks; Fernandez-Pardo Requests Transfer

Liverpool have reportedly opened talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a move for Bradley Barcola, with the winger having verbally agreed to join the Reds. PSG are the only party left that needs convincing, but they are demanding £145m for the 23-year-old.

That fee would eclipse the British transfer record of £125m Liverpool paid for Alexander Isak last summer. Barcola, who has two years remaining on his contract, has turned down an extension and also rejected Chelsea earlier this summer.

Barcola Talks Advance

Sky Sports News reported that Liverpool could be closing in on their dream replacement for Mohamed Salah after opening negotiations. The player's contract situation could give Liverpool a bargaining chip, as his value could drop next summer.

Meanwhile, PSG have reportedly gone cold on another Liverpool target, Yan Diomande, amid speculation he is set to join Real Madrid.

Fernandez-Pardo Seeks Move

Lille forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo has handed in a transfer request. The 21-year-old Belgium international has been linked with Liverpool, as well as Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa, and is valued at around £50m.

Fernandez-Pardo can play across the front line but operated largely as a centre forward for Lille last season, netting eight goals and recording five assists in 29 Ligue 1 appearances.

Liverpool have already secured the £60m signing of Jeremy Jacquet and the acquisition of Victor Munoz this summer. A move for Barcola could become Andoni Iraola's first superstar capture at the club.
