Liverpool have completed the signing of defender Mor Talla Ndiaye from Amitie FC, subject to international clearance. The Senegal youth international, who represented his country at the under-17 World Cup last year, will join the Reds' under-21 side. The move aims to bolster defensive options at youth level, offsetting the promotion of Wellity Lucky to the senior squad.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have entered the race to sign RB Leipzig starlet Yan Diomande, according to reports. The Reds join Manchester United and several other top clubs in pursuing the teenage star. United have reportedly tabled an offer but it falls short of Leipzig's £86m valuation. Diomande has four and a half years remaining on his contract, giving the Bundesliga side leverage, and a summer move is considered more likely.
In other news, Federico Chiesa has been in contact with former Juventus teammates Dusan Vlahovic, Manuel Locatelli and Federico Gatti over a potential January return to Turin, according to Tuttosport. The Italian winger is only open to a permanent move and is not considering other offers. Juve would need to pay around £8.9m to re-sign Chiesa, having sold him to Liverpool for £13.3m in 2024.
