Arsenal have entered the race to sign Crystal Palace captain Marc Guéhi, according to reports. The centre-back, whose contract expires in the summer, was previously a target for Liverpool and Manchester City. Arsenal are seeking defensive reinforcements, and a partnership with William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães could form a formidable backline.
Tottenham are also active in the transfer market. They have had an £8m bid rejected for Santos left-back Souza, a 19-year-old prospect. Meanwhile, former Genoa defender Radu Dragusin, recently returned from an ACL injury, is linked with a move to Roma, and Brentford winger Kevin Schade continues to be linked with a reunion with his former coach Thomas Frank at Spurs.
Evan Ferguson, currently on loan at Roma from Brighton, is reportedly a target for Nottingham Forest as they seek cover for the injured Chris Wood. Wolves forward Jørgen Strand Larsen is also on Forest's list, after West Ham opted against a £40m move. Wolves, despite their precarious league position, have gone three games unbeaten, and 18-year-old Mateus Mané is not for sale.
Everton right-back Nathan Patterson is attracting interest from Sevilla, according to Sky Sports. Meanwhile, Real Madrid defender Antonio Rüdiger, whose contract expires in the summer, has been linked with a romantic return to Chelsea, the club where he won the Champions League.
