Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova will contest an all-Czech Wimbledon women's final on Saturday, July 11, 2026, with both seeking a maiden Grand Slam title. The ninth and tenth seeds meet on Centre Court at approximately 4pm BST.
Muchova's Path to the Final
Muchova, ranked world No. 10, reached her first major final at the 2023 French Open, where she lost to Iga Swiatek. Before this year, she had never advanced beyond the quarter-finals at Wimbledon and suffered first-round exits in her last four appearances. However, she has now defeated Coco Gauff in the semi-finals, former world No. 1 Naomi Osaka in the quarter-finals, and 2021 champion Barbora Krejcikova in the fourth round.
Noskova's Breakthrough
Noskova, 21, is playing her first Grand Slam final. She beat Elise Mertens in the quarter-finals and Marta Kostyuk in the semi-finals. The Czech also won the Berlin Open on grass earlier this season, defeating Jessica Pegula, the fourth seed at Wimbledon, in the final.
