Morgan Riddle has expressed her unwavering support for boyfriend Taylor Fritz after his US Open final defeat to Jannik Sinner. The American world No. 12 fell 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 in New York, and Riddle took to Instagram shortly after with a heartfelt tribute.
“What an amazing week @taylor_Fritz. I could not be more proud of you and grateful to support you. Your dedication and drive inspires me so much every day, forever your biggest fan,” she wrote alongside a photo of the two players during the trophy ceremony. The pair have been together since 2020 after meeting on a celebrity dating app.
Riddle, 27, has become a notable figure on the tennis circuit, amassing over half a million followers on TikTok and 300,000 on Instagram. The New York Times once dubbed her “the most famous woman in men’s tennis”. She also featured in Netflix’s Break Point series, which followed players through Grand Slams.
However, she has courted controversy. At Wimbledon this year, her boisterous celebrations during Fritz’s fourth-round match against Alexander Zverev irked the German, leading to a social media spat that Riddle dismissed as a “misunderstanding”. In 2022, she posted a now-deleted video claiming she was “on a personal mission to make tennis cool again”, prompting criticism from some quarters. Fritz defended her, saying: “I think what she did was awesome for our sport.”
Originally from Minneapolis, Riddle studied English at Wagner College and worked in estate agency before moving into social media and marketing. She left her job in 2022 to focus on creating tennis content full-time. Last year, she hosted the Wimbledon Threads fashion series.
