New Chelsea head coach Xabi Alonso has laid down the law in his first interview since taking the reins at Stamford Bridge, declaring that hard work is a non-negotiable requirement for his squad. "The potential of the team and squad made me really excited, to find a squad to work with, create a football idea, bring excitement to the stadium and connect with the fans," he explained.
