Time Out has named Traeth Llanddwyn, also known as Newborough Beach, on the Welsh island of Anglesey as the best beach in the UK, beating out popular spots like Tenby and Rhossili. The beach offers spectacular mountain views and is praised for its "heavenly views wherever you turn."

Located on the southwestern tip of Anglesey, the beach features cream sand and dunes scattered with wildflowers, backed by a lush forest. Set against the silhouettes of Eryri National Park's peaks, the views are unmatched. At 2.5 miles long, the beach never feels overcrowded, according to Time Out.
