England rugby hero Chris Robshaw has been a staple on our screens during the Rugby World Cup, but his wife Camilla Kershaw has revealed a brilliant scheme to finally get her husband back. The former England captain's other half has taken to social media with a plea that has fans in stitches.
Posting a hilarious video on her Instagram, Camilla can be seen dramatically longing for her husband's return from his punditry duties in France. The clip, set to a sombre soundtrack, shows her wistfully gazing out of a window before a text overlay appears: "When you've been a rugby widow for 6 weeks but he's on TV telling you he'll 'be home soon'".
The comedy gold didn't stop there. In a genius move to accelerate his return, Camilla launched a mock campaign. She urged fans to vote for England to lose their bronze final against Argentina, thereby ending ITV's broadcast and sending the pundits home.
Her caption read: "If England win they have to stay another week to analyse the final. If they lose, they come home Sunday! Your country needs you! (Me, I'm your country)."
The post has since gone viral, racking up thousands of likes and comments from amused rugby fans who are fully behind her mission. Despite her best efforts, England won the match 26-23, meaning Chris's analysis duties were extended. However, with the tournament now finally over, it seems Camilla's long wait is at an end and her beloved pundit is finally coming home.
