Terry Dyson, Tottenham legend, dies aged 91

Terry Dyson, the former Tottenham Hotspur winger who was part of the club's most successful era, has died at the age of 91, his family has announced.

Career at Tottenham

Dyson made 209 appearances for Spurs between 1955 and 1965, scoring 55 goals. He was a key member of the side that won the FA Cup in 1961 and 1962, and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1963.

He also played for Fulham and Colchester United before retiring.

Legacy

In a statement, Tottenham Hotspur said: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former player Terry Dyson at the age of 91. Terry was a brilliant winger and a key member of our great sides of the early 1960s. He will be greatly missed by everyone at the club."

Dyson's death was confirmed by his family, who said he died peacefully at home.
