Scott McTominay is currently representing Scotland at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, marking the country's return to the tournament for the first time in 28 years. The Napoli midfielder is being supported by his family and his stunning girlfriend, Cam Reading, who has been dubbed the 'Queen of Italy'.

McTominay's Key Role for Scotland

McTominay has been instrumental in leading Scotland to the World Cup, scoring two goals and providing one assist as the team topped their qualifying group. During his club season, the midfielder made 18 goal contributions, helping Napoli secure the Italian Super Cup.

Now, McTominay's focus is on Scotland's second group stage match against Morocco on Friday night, where they have a major chance of advancing to the knockout rounds. The 29-year-old has been supported by his partner since his time at Manchester United, with Reading reportedly starting her life as a WAG in 2020.

A Private Relationship Goes Public

The couple kept their relationship private until 2022, when Reading was spotted in the stands at Old Trafford before McTominay's move to Italy. Now, the WAG is consistently by the midfielder's side and regularly shares updates from their private holidays and events.

Before the World Cup, Reading posted photos of the couple's holiday in Ibiza with friends, captioning the dump with emojis including a yacht, sun, dancing woman, bikini, and whale. She stunned in beach-ready outfits such as a cropped kaftan and white two-piece set, showcasing her athletic figure.

Reading at the Gran Gala del Calcio

Reading also attended the Gran Gala del Calcio awards, where McTominay won top honors for his 2024/25 season performances. During that campaign, he scored 13 goals and assisted six times as Napoli pursued the league title. At the ceremony, McTominay was named in the best starting XI and won Serie A Player of the Year.

Reading quickly posted snaps of the moment and congratulated her partner, writing: 'Gran Gala del Calcio. Scott walked away with two awards, and I walked away even prouder of the man he is... dedicated, hardworking and always striving for more. Ti amo.'

Scotland's World Cup Campaign

McTominay was also named Scotland's Player of the Year ahead of the World Cup. He expressed confidence in the team's ability to perform, especially after an opening-day win over Haiti in Boston. Speaking to GQ, he said: 'There's no time to be shy... You have to take challenges like this head-on... It's a game-by-game process.'

Scotland faces Morocco on Friday at Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with an 11pm UK kick-off. Their final group match is against Brazil on June 24 at Miami Stadium in Florida.
