With Lando Norris now crowned F1 world champion, his girlfriend Margarida Corceiro has also stepped into the limelight. The Portuguese model and actress, known as Magui, has become a fixture in the F1 paddock, drawing both admiration and criticism for her high-profile appearances.
Born in Santarem, Portugal, on 26 October 2002, Corceiro began her career as a teenage actress in Portuguese TV dramas and appeared on the country's version of Dancing with the Stars in 2020. She now boasts over 2.2 million Instagram followers and 800,000 TikTok fans, making her one of Portugal's most recognisable personalities.
Corceiro is co-founder of the eco-friendly swimwear brand MISSUS and has collaborated with major brands including Intimissimi, Alo Yoga, and Kérastase. Forbes Portugal named her the most influential person on Instagram in the country.
The couple were first seen together in May 2023 in Monaco, but only confirmed their relationship in August 2025 after Norris's win at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Since then, Corceiro has been a regular at races, often seen cheering from the garage.
Her visibility has sparked controversy, with former McLaren teammate Carlos Sainz criticising TV coverage for focusing too much on drivers' partners. Speaking to Spain's El Partidazo de COPE, Sainz said: 'They go overboard a little by showing the celebrities and girlfriends... they missed a lot of things.'
Corceiro responded to the criticism in an interview with Jornal de Noticias, saying: 'I don't call the cameras. If they record me, they record me. Sometimes I don't even realise if I'm being recorded.' She added that she has no technical knowledge of F1 and attends only to support her partner.
