Lewis Hamilton has reportedly parted ways with his closest professional partner, Marc Hynes, ahead of the 2026 Formula 1 season. The split comes as the seven-time world champion has been spotted with Kim Kardashian in the Cotswolds and Paris, fuelling speculation of a romantic relationship.
According to reports, Hynes has left Hamilton's camp to take up a new role with F1's newest team, Cadillac. Hynes previously served as chief executive of Hamilton's management company, Project 44, from 2015 to 2021, and returned last year to oversee the driver's racing logistics at Ferrari. The separation is said to be amicable.
The change is part of a wider overhaul in Hamilton's team. Last month, Ferrari confirmed that Riccardo Adami will no longer serve as his race engineer, with Cedric Michel-Grosjean tipped to replace him. Hamilton endured a difficult first season with Ferrari, failing to finish on the podium at a Grand Prix for the first time in his career.
However, after three days of testing in Barcelona, Hamilton expressed optimism about the upcoming campaign. He completed 209 laps in Ferrari's new SF-26 and said the car is 'more enjoyable to drive' thanks to new regulations that level the playing field. 'We've had great debriefs, everyone's really on it. I really feel the winning mentality in every single person in the team more than ever,' he added.
Off the track, speculation about a relationship with Kardashian continues. A source described the pair as 'inseparable', using 'military op' skills to avoid being seen. Hamilton has been publicly single since his split from Nicole Scherzinger in 2015.
