Arsenal have confirmed the acquisition of Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for £34m. The 24-year-old Greece international has signed a five-year contract and will wear the No. 17 shirt at the Emirates Stadium.
Tzolis achieved 51 goal contributions across 52 outings for the Belgian side last season. He previously struggled at Norwich in the Premier League during the 2021–22 season, making 14 appearances without scoring.
He is viewed as a replacement for Leandro Trossard, who left for Besiktas last week, reports the Mirror.

Tzolis said: "It's absolutely amazing to sign for such a big club, the champions of England. I'm very proud to be part of this team for the next season."
He added: "When my agent was saying maybe it was a possibility, I was already excited. Afterwards it was getting more serious and now I'm here. I had a nice conversation [with Mikel Arteta]. It was around an hour. We talked about everything, about the club, about myself, about his plans, about me of course, about the team. It was only positive things."
Yan Diomande interest
Arsenal are reportedly targeting Yan Diomande as an alternative to Morgan Rogers after failing to land the England star. The Gunners' requirement for a marquee left-wing addition remains their top priority.
Football.london reports Arsenal have expressed interest in the 19-year-old RB Leipzig talent, who caught the eye at the World Cup for Ivory Coast. The report indicates the Gunners have requested to be kept updated on the Ivorian.
Arsenal estimated Rogers' worth at approximately £80m but failed to meet Aston Villa's valuation, resulting in Chelsea finalising the deal for £117m. Diomande is anticipated to command a fee of around £94m this summer, with Liverpool already having an £85m offer turned down.
Diomande is reported to prefer a move to PSG, but the European champions have not yet satisfied Leipzig's asking price. Arsenal's enquiry is understood to have been purely preliminary and the club have not progressed further during the transfer window thus far.
