Tom Holland has suffered a mild concussion on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, halting production at Leavesden Studios in Watford, UK.
The incident occurred on Friday while the 29-year-old actor was performing a stunt, according to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, and Variety. He was taken to hospital after hitting his head, but no one else was injured.
Despite the injury, Holland attended a charity dinner the following night with his father and fiancee Zendaya, but left early after feeling unwell, as reported by The Sun.
Filming was suspended on Friday, and Holland will take a break for several days as a precaution. Sony Pictures, co-producing with Marvel Studios, will meet on Monday to decide how to proceed.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for release in July 2026, marking Holland's fourth solo outing as Spider-Man. Returning cast includes Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Mando, with new additions Liza Colón-Zayas, Tramell Tillman, and Sadie Sink.
