Mason Mount said he was "all good" despite going off injured in the first half of Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg.
Mount forced off early
Mount lasted less than 20 minutes after starting for the fourth successive time in pre-season, being replaced by Tyler Fletcher after picking up a foot injury following a challenge in midfield.
The £60million midfielder had been United's standout player in pre-season until that point, but he walked through the mixed zone after the game at the Ullevi Stadium with a smile on his face and when asked how he was, he said "all good".
Precautionary measure
Mount then signed autographs for a couple of fans before boarding the team coach, with United heading straight to Dublin for the start of a training camp in Ireland over the next five days.
Michael Carrick also allayed fears that Mount had suffered a major setback, telling Scandinavian broadcaster VG that he had taken the 27-year-old off as a precaution.
"He got kicked," he said. "We just wanted to be careful and look after him. We've been lucky with injuries so far, so we wanted to be careful."
