Scottie Scheffler’s son steals limelight with adorable stumble at Open win

A heartwarming moment unfolded on the 18th green at Royal Portrush as Scottie Scheffler’s 14-month-old son, Bennett, stole the show after his father’s Open Championship victory on Sunday, 20 July.

As Scheffler celebrated his fourth major title, young Bennett toddled towards him but momentarily lost his balance, drawing cheers and encouragement from the crowd.

Scheffler waited for his son to steady himself before lifting him into his arms. The toddler then gazed curiously at the Claret Jug, the trophy his father had just won.
