Henry Pollock has been praised for his nonchalant reaction to a bit of playful winding-up by Finn Russell during Saturday's Gallagher Premiership clash between Northampton and Bath.
Saints ran out 71-48 winners in the try-fest, scoring 11 tries to Bath's seven at Franklin's Gardens in the second highest scoring game in Premiership history.
While the countless scores caught the attention on Saturday, a brief moment between Pollock and Russell did the rounds on social media on Sunday.
The Moment Caught on Camera
A clip emerged of the Scotland fly-half jokingly grabbing Pollock's ankle as the flanker walked back towards his own try-line, tipping the England international over.
The moment came during the first half, with the referee looking elsewhere.
"Good banter between Finn Russell and Henry Pollock, who know each other very well outside the sport these days," said former England second-row Ben Kay on TNT's commentary.
Shared Management
The pair are both now managed by boxing marketer Eddie Hearn, who has vowed to make Pollock in particular a huge name outside of the sport.
Pollock has earned a reputation as one of rugby's most entertaining characters - with fans tending to either love or hate him.
This time, it was Russell doing the entertaining. And, given the jocular nature of the act, Pollock, unsurprisingly, took it in good spirits - with fans on X praising the young back-row as a result.
Fan Reaction
"Haha, Pollock took that very well. Love this type of stuff because it's good natured," said one X user.
"I love the way Pollock is so nonchalant about it all," said another.
"Personally I see this as great humour from FR and anyone who thinks otherwise needs to chill out and have a little giggle at at," posted another user.
