Childhood Sweethearts Turned Lifelong Partners
Harry Kane and his wife Kate Goodland first met at Larkswood Primary School in east London before both attending Chingford Foundation School in Waltham Forest, the same school that produced former England captain David Beckham. An old photograph shows the teenage couple posing alongside Beckham years before Kane would follow in his footsteps as England captain.
Kane has previously said he feels fortunate to have found his partner before his career took off, telling the Evening Standard: "If I was single now and meeting people, you'd never know if they were with you for the right reasons. Is it the money? You'd never really know. So I'm lucky that I've got a childhood sweetheart."
Secret Wedding and Family Life
Kane proposed during a holiday in the Bahamas in 2017, and the couple married in June 2019 in an intimate ceremony at an undisclosed location. Kate described Harry as her "soul mate" and said marrying him had been one of the best days of her life. She wore a fitted Ralph and Russo gown with a sweetheart neckline and embellished bodice, changing into a second gown with sheer detailing for the evening.
The couple have four children: Ivy Jane (born January 2017), Vivienne Jane (born August 2018), Louis Harry (born December 2020), and Henry Edward (born August 2023). They also own two Labrador dogs named Brady and Wilson. Kane told SoccerBible: "Being a dad and a husband is the most important part of my life."
Move to Germany and £30 Million Mansion
In summer 2023, Kane completed his move from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich, relocating the family to Germany. They now live in a luxury home in one of Munich's most exclusive residential areas, dubbed the "Beverly Hills of Bavaria." The £30 million house sits on the edge of a forest with views over a river and includes its own spa. It was previously home to ex-Bayern stars Mehmet Scholl and Lucas Hernandez.
Kane earns an estimated £400,000 per week at Bayern Munich, equating to £21.6 million per year base salary. His net worth exceeds £100 million, surpassing Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. Neighbour Renate Lindner told the Mirror: "He has a lovely family. I have seen him in the street to say hello. I love football so I knew straight away who it was. Kate Goodland studied sports science at university and qualified as a personal trainer. She occasionally shares fitness advice on Instagram and has collaborated with jewellery brand Loquet London to create a collection raising money for the Harry Kane Foundation, which promotes positive mental health among children and young people.
