Tickets for the heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua at Cardiff's Principality Stadium go on sale at 12pm on Friday, October 9, with more than 80,000 tickets available.
The long-awaited bout, scheduled for December 11, marks the first time the two British boxers have met in the ring. Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) holds the WBA, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles after defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015. Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) won super heavyweight gold at the London 2012 Olympics before becoming a two-time unified heavyweight world champion.
Where to buy tickets
The primary seller of general admission tickets is Ticketmaster, where prices are expected to start at £75. The most affordable seats will be in the Principality's upper tiers, while those nearer the ring in the lower tiers or on the floor can cost upwards of £1,000. Demand is likely to be high, so fans may be placed in an online queue when sales start.
Tickets are also available from Seat Unique, which provides official tickets with VIP and hospitality packages. These are typically more expensive than standard tickets but tend to include perks such as premium seating and complimentary food and drink. Booking through Seat Unique often grants early access to the event and exclusive lounge facilities before and throughout the fight. Inclusive perks can vary between packages, so it's worth checking the terms before booking.
Secondary platforms and event details
After the general sale, tickets may appear on secondary platforms like viagogo, where buyers can sell their tickets to fellow fans. These can cost more than face value but may be listed for less nearer to the fight depending on availability through official channels.
Official timings for the event are yet to be confirmed, but the main event ringwalks are expected to start around 1am UK time. The undercard is also yet to be confirmed, but Netflix has announced it will showcase 'a star-studded undercard' featuring 'marquee fighters' from around the world.
How to watch on TV
For boxing fans who prefer watching from home, the fight and the entire card will be streamed live worldwide on Netflix at no extra cost as part of a standard subscription, which currently starts at £7.99 per month in the UK. Some retailers give away free Netflix subscriptions with their own TV packages, including Sky's £15 Essential TV bundle that also includes around 100 channels. Sky's £24 Ultimate TV bundle also includes free Netflix alongside HBO Max, Disney+, Hayu and roughly 130 channels.
