Darren Till will make his highly-anticipated bare-knuckle boxing debut against former reality TV star Aaron Chalmers tonight at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. The main card of BKFC 90 begins at 7pm UK time, with the co-main event expected around 9pm.
Till, a former UFC welterweight title challenger, left the UFC three years ago and found success in Misfits Boxing, where he won the inaugural MFB bridgerweight title against Luke Rockhold. He signed with BKFC earlier this year, insisting he left Misfits on good terms.
Chalmers, 39, has experience as a fighter, notably facing Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition bout three years ago. The fight will be available to watch on BKFC Plus, the promotion's subscription service.
Speaking ahead of the fight, Till said: “I’ve said to everyone it would go really well but it could go badly. Who knows? I just know I’m in my prime years. I’m fit and strong. I’m in prime physical condition, especially with the team I have acquired around me. Confidence levels are really high.”
