Hampus Skoglund is swerving any talk of a Rangers transfer offer after being linked with the Ibrox club. The Hammarby right back seemed set to replace James Tavernier when Danny Rohl was still boss towards the end of last season.
Rangers interest and price tag
Sporting director Mikael Hjelmberg was desperate to keep the 22-year-old and slapped a £2million price tag on him. However, Derek McInnes' appointment as manager has seen Ross McCrorie brought back to the club and is the starting right back for now.
Skoglund's response
Skoglund was giving nothing away when quizzed on a potential switch to Gers. He said: "Rangers? You can take that one up with my agent. At the moment I am just concentrating on Hammarby."
He added: "There was also talk of a move for me to Girona in La Liga last year, but I haven't heard anything from them. I have no idea whether I will stay at Hammarby during this transfer window. My agent is in charge of that side of it, I leave it to him. I'm just focusing on the here and now."
