Arsenal Injury Scare Over Bukayo Saka Ahead of Chelsea Clash

Bukayo Saka limped off in the closing stages of Arsenal's win over Tottenham, sparking fears over the winger's availability. However, the England international played a full part in post-match celebrations, suggesting the issue is not serious.

Saka received treatment after a heavy fall with Spurs midfielder Xavi Simons landing on his ankle. He was replaced by Noni Madueke. Manager Mikel Arteta will hope the problem is minor, as Saka has already dealt with hamstring and hip issues this season.

The 23-year-old has been in superb form, scoring eight goals and providing seven assists in all competitions. He recently committed his future to the club by signing a new contract until 2031.

Arteta said of the deal: 'Bukayo’s news is great, he’s one of our own. For him to make that decision and the club to be so aligned with him, it’s a really positive thing.'

The win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium moved Arsenal five points clear of Manchester City in the Premier League title race. The Gunners next face Chelsea at home.
