Reynolds' wife, actress Blake Lively, was also in attendance and captured her husband's emotional reaction to the triumph. Reynolds also acknowledged the challenges overcome, including fans shovelling snow off the pitch to prevent match cancellations, and the scattering of ashes of loved ones on the field.
