Robbie Ure scores first Sevilla goal in wild 3-3 draw with Levante
Robbie Ure nets first Sevilla goal in crazy 3-3 Levante draw

Robbie Ure scored his first Sevilla goal since his £9million move, but the former Rangers youngster saw his side held to a dramatic 3-3 draw by Levante in a chaotic La Liga encounter.

The 22-year-old opened the scoring after capitalising on a poor back pass, rounding Australian international goalkeeper Matt Ryan before slotting home. It was Ure's first goal in his eighth outing for the Spanish club and ended a wait of over ten hours on the pitch.

Ure's journey to Sevilla

Ure's impressive form for Swedish club Sirius persuaded Sevilla to invest in the forward, and it also earned him a call-up to new Scotland boss Sebastien Pocognoli's first squad for the recent Nations League matches.

He started the goalless draw in Slovenia and came close to scoring on his international debut when he hit the post shortly before half-time. He was an unused substitute for the visit of Switzerland, the win in North Macedonia, and the Slovenian's victory at Hampden.

Chaotic stoppage time

Sevilla looked in control when Felix Correia doubled their lead on 54 minutes, but Ivan Romero pulled one back three minutes later. The real drama unfolded in injury time.

Adrian de la Fuente levelled for Levante two minutes into stoppage time, and Sevilla thought they had won it through Isaac Romero three minutes later. However, the goalscorer was then sent off immediately, allowing Ifeanyi Ndukwe to snatch a dramatic equaliser in the 90+10 minute.
