QPR striker Richard Kone is expected to be fit and available for selection against Lincoln this weekend after an injury scare during the team's 1-1 draw with Burnley.
Kone was forced off just before the hour mark at Loftus Road and walked straight down the tunnel instead of taking his place on the bench alongside his team-mates. The 23-year-old had been moving awkwardly before being substituted, prompting fears of a setback.
Kone Expected to Be Available for Lincoln Clash
Standard Sport understands the Ivory Coast international came through the game unscathed and is set to be available against Lincoln on Saturday. Kone has been in strong form, scoring four goals in his last three games since returning from a freak injury sustained during a development match against Bolton's Under-21s.
He was off the pace as QPR could only take a point at home to struggling Burnley on Tuesday night, but he remains the club's top goalscorer this season.
Stephan Frustrated Despite Dominant Display
QPR head coach Julien Stephan was left frustrated by his side's performance against Burnley, but said the West Londoners had enough chances to win the game.
"I'm frustrated with the result, not with the performance. I think we started very well and in the first 20-25 minutes we had enough chances to score a minimum one or two times," Stephan said.
"We conceded probably from the first shot they had during the game. They shot only four times, touched the ball only five times in our box. We had 20 shots and 45 ball touches in the opponents' box."
"We were very dominant, and the minimum in the second half was to score and equalise, but I think we had enough big chances to win today. That's why it's a frustration based on the result, but not a frustration based on the collective performance."
